The Federal Member for Bennelong, John Alexander, is encouraging local businesses to support one of Australia’s biggest ever trade missions to China.


A delegation, including up to 600 business people, will travel to ‘Australia Week in China’ from April 8th – April 11th.  There will be industry specific events in different Chinese cities across the week.


“This is a tremendous way to boost Australia’s already strong ties with China.  Here is a great opportunity for businesses to be part of an important trade mission and help further strengthen Australia’s relations with our biggest trading partner,” said Mr Alexander.


“There’s great scope to deepen the relationship well beyond the import of Chinese consumables and the export of natural resources.”


Australia Week in China will focus attention on what Australia has to offer and will assist businesses already active in China while providing information and contacts to those Australian companies considering the China market for their products and services.
