Following the highly successful first round of the federal government’s Stronger Community Partnership grants, the second round is now open for applications.
In this round, $150,000 is available to Bennelong community groups in infrastructure grant funding. This federal funding will improve local participation and cohesion, and contribute to develop an even more vibrant Bennelong community.
These grants are available to local organisations to fund tangible new infrastructure projects within Bennelong to deliver positive social benefits. Funding amounts between $5,000 and $20,000 are available and must be matched (either dollar for dollar or in-kind) by the applicant or another source.
Applications are open now, and close on the close on the 18th October.
Member for Bennelong, John Alexander MP said: “Bennelong boasts great local community organisations with big plans, big hearts, but limited funds. These grants are helping bring these plans into fruition.”
