100km Walk for Leukaemia
On the evening of 6 October I will be hosting a ‘Light the Night’ event in support of the Leukaemia Foundation to officially start my 100km Walk for Leukaemia throughout Bennelong.
To register for the event, or to donate, please visit: https://lightthenight.org.au/event/north-ryde
Please join me at North Ryde Oval near the RSL from 6pm for a BBQ, followed by a lantern parade when it gets dark. The kids will love it, and it will also be for a good cause, so please bring some gold coins. These nights are both moving and inspirational as people from all walks of life stand shoulder to shoulder to remember and reflect.
Then throughout October I will be walking across Bennelong raising money and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation. Did you know someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer on average every 41 minutes, that’s 35 Aussies a day!
Perhaps together we can help contribute to the final defeat of this scourge, I look forward to hopefully seeing you in the coming weeks as I make my way around Bennelong.
